Mary Todd Lincoln House
Abraham Lincoln had plenty of excuses to steal away to Lexington, as is wife, Mary Todd was born there. The old Georgian house where she lived from 1839 to 1839 is still there and includes memorabilia from her and Lincoln himself. You can stop by or call the Mary Todd Lincoln House which is located at 578 West Main Street.
The Waverland State Historic Site
The Waverland State Historic Site has much to offer in American History. Slaves located in Kentucky numbered to almost one half of the population and were important, as the area was the operation of hemp plantations.
