Park Life is a festival on the outskirts of Manchester that takes place in the massive Heaton Park. It usually takes place over a weekend in early June and is full of mega headline acts covering various different genres of music. You can enjoy both days but you can’t stay on-site at the park.

Nantwich Food Festival

Nantwich food festival is a popular festival that takes place over a weekend in September. You will find live cooking demonstrations as well as stalls showcasing some of the best street food from all over the world.

Spooky World

If you love anything to do with Halloween then look no further than Spooky World. Taking place in October for Halloween in Warrington you can take younger children during the day or any brave 10-year-olds and above can enjoy the Spooky World experience at night. However, it isn’t for the faith hearted.

Aintree Grand National Festival

Every April Aintree on the outskirts of Liverpool hosts the horse racing highlight of the year has to be the Grand National. The Grand National Festival takes place over four days ending on the fourth day with the big race itself. You need to buy tickets in advance and make sure you put on your glad rags for this event, but if you love horse racing then this is the festival to attend. You can also enjoy live entertainment and a party that takes place after the racing has finished.

Christmas is a magical time, and each year there are an array of Christmas markets that you can enjoy. The Christmas markets usually have various different stalls selling anything from candles and foot items to Christmas decorations and trinkets. You can also enjoy a great selection of food and drink.
